The selected winners have achieved a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher, are PHP members or have attended high school in the PHP service area, and have been accepted to an post-secondary college, university, or technical school. These winners completed a scholarship application along with a short video to be considered for this award.
Scoring was based on the quality of the application and video, including, but not limited to: content, creativity, technical quality, storytelling, and personal experience. Also considered was community service including the length of commitment, quality of teamwork, and leadership responsibilities in the community, as well as academic studies, activities, awards, and honors.

PHP has concluded its 2025-26 scholarship contest. The following students have been awarded scholarship monies.
Aubrey Hanger is graduating from Kankakee Valley High School and plans to attend Purdue University, where she will pursue Nursing. She is the first place winner and receives a one-time scholarship of $3,000.
