Kids need milk, not fat

Most children drink a lot less milk than they should, and too many kids consume mostly high-fat dairy products. To build strong bones, the government recommends that 2- to 8-year-olds drink two cups a day and 9- to 18-year-olds drink three cups a day. For kids age 2 and older, experts recommend nonfat or low-fat dairy products.
