Job Title:Customer Service Manager

General Job Description:

In this key role, you will guide the entire Customer Service Department in its daily activities. The responsibilities of this position include development of long and short term goals, departmental budget and policies, conferring with human resources regarding department personnel issues, resolution of more complex queries, compliance with regulations, recordkeeping, and assistance in communications such as the member newsletter. You will also supervise the Receptionist ensuring that all incoming calls are handled professionally. These responsibilities apply to the primary goal of ensuring that all telephone inquiries are answered quickly, courteously, and successfully.

 

To apply for this position, you should have a High School Degree and 2-3 years of customer service experience. Supervisory experience is preferred, as is an Indiana Life and Health Insurance License, with a thorough knowledge and understanding of medical and insurance terminology. As an autonomous position with high expectations, this position requires demonstrable skills in management, communication, interpersonal relations, and analysis, as well as personal computer fluency and the ability to solve problems.
