Freedom to Choose. As a not-for-profit and physician governed organization, Physicians Health Plan focuses on supporting the patient/physician relationship for better health. We provide our members open access to over 2,000 network providers including doctors, dentists, hospitals and medical facilities. This means our members choose the healthcare provider they want to see, from Primary Care to Specialists, without any special arrangements through the Plan.

Customer Satisfaction. PHP has earned a reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction among employers, employees, and their families. Responsible Community Partners. Providing information, financial resources and assistance to the community is important and has a positive effect on everyone's health. Through PHP, local doctors created the PHP Foundation to support non-profit health-related organizations. This foundation donates over $400,000 annually to serve low-income, high-risk, medically-underserved, and elderly persons in Northern Indiana. In addition, we sponsor numerous community charity events and activities throughout Northern Indiana, providing not only financial resources but staff volunteers.
